Biorb Intelligent LED Light – Worth the Price?

The Biorb Intelligent LED Light

Biorb Intelligent Light, the Rundown

The Biorb Intelligent LED Light isn’t cheap, if you buy it alone the average price is $105. The big question is, why is the Intelligent Light $105 & what does it offer for your Biorb Aquarium that the regular Biorb Light doesn’t?  Is the Intelligent Light just a fancy biorb accessory or is it a worthwhile investment for you to upgrade your Biorb Aquarium?

What the Biorb Intelligent LED Offers

• Sunrise, daylight, sunset and moonlight cycles – change at the push of a button with 7 different cycles, allowing you to increase the length of daylight to suit your requirements

• No need to change a bulb – it lasts 50,000 hours using long-life, low energy cost saving LEDs

• Slimline design fits into all biOrb aquariums (excluding the Baby biOrb). Concealed in the aquarium lid and only 18 mm thick.

• Automatic 24-hour timer – just plug the light in and it cycles at the same time everyday

Big Differences between the Regular Biorb Light & the Intelligent LED Light

The regular Biorb light requires replacement light bulbs, which don’t last as long as the Biorb LED Light.

Regular light only has on/off setting so the brightness of the light doesn’t adjust throughout the day/night for your fish.

The Intelligent Light has a higher peak output than the regular Biorb light (The Intelligent Light has a peak output of 6,500k with a broad spectrum either side of that. This creates a rich blue/white light ideal for an aquarium)

Summary

If you have a few extra bucks the Biorb Intelligent Light is an excellent upgrade for your Biorb or Biube aquarium. If you add up all the money you will have to spend over the life of your Biorb Fish Tank on replacement light bulbs, it might add up to more than the price of the Intelligent LED Light. The Intelligent LED Light also comes standard with the Biube Pure Aquarium & all Biorb Life Aquariums & you can find it & other biorb tanks & supplies at http://www.EverythingBiorb.com
