Bird Zithro (Azithromycin) is a bird antibiotic that is used for systemic and local infections in pigeons, pet birds, and exotic birds. This antibiotic is effective against gram-positive bacteria, as well as some gram-negative bacteria, spirochetes, anaerobic bacteria, and other types of microorganisms. Bird Zithro is also effective against Chlamydia psittaci in cockatiels. The active ingredient in this medication works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, which helps to eliminate the bacteria and the infection.

Bird Zithro (Azithromycin) 

Bird Zithro 12 Count (Azithromycin)  is a bird antibiotic that is used for systemic and local infections in pigeons, pet birds, and exotic birds. This antibiotic is effective against gram-positive bacteria, as well as some gram-negative bacteria, spirochetes, anaerobic bacteria, and other types of microorganisms. Bird ZithroTM is also effective against Chlamydia psittaci in cockatiels. The active ingredient in this medication works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, which helps to eliminate the bacteria and the infection.

Dosage & Administration: Add the contents of 1 tablet, to 8 oz. of drinking water, make a fresh solution daily. Continue treatment for 7-10 days. Not to be given to birds that are intended for human consumption.

Storage: Keep lid tightly fastened and store at controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F. (15°-30°C).

Caution: Keep out of reach of children.  Bird Antibiotics are not intended for human consumption.
